We built Resuvia.guru to help job seekers get past applicant tracking systems. To do that we need to handle your resume text and any job descriptions you paste. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we delete. No legalese for the sake of it.
What we collect
- Resume + job description text you paste. Used to generate your ATS score, keyword gap, and rewritten resume. Sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Stored in our database so you can re-download for the next 30 days.
- Email address (optional). Only if you sign in via magic link. Used to deliver the sign-in code, attach your resumes to your account, and send payment receipts. We never sell or share it.
- Payment information. Handled entirely by Razorpay. We never see your card number. Their privacy policy applies to that data.
- Aggregate analytics. We measure which pages help job seekers, in aggregate. By default this runs without cookies: Google Analytics loads under Consent Mode with storage denied, so it sets no cookies and sends only cookieless, modeled pings — unless you press Accept on the cookie banner, which lets it set one first-party analytics cookie (
_ga). You can change or withdraw that choice any time via Cookie preferences in the footer. If self-hosted Plausible is configured instead, it is cookieless in all cases. Either way, analytics is skipped on private pages (/result/,/dashboard,/login,/auth/,/admin,/account) so resume share tokens never leak.
What we don't collect
- No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. The only cookie we ever set for analytics is Google Analytics' first-party
_ga— and only if you press Accept on the cookie banner. Reject (or ignore) it and no analytics cookies are set at all. Strictly-necessary cookies for signing in stay essential and aren't used for tracking. - No third-party data sale or sharing of any kind.
- We don't train any AI model on your resume content. Anthropic processes your resume per their privacy policy; under their default API terms they don't train on your inputs either.
How long we keep it
Resume rows are retained for 30 days from creation (set via the expires_at column at insert time). A daily cron job deletes any resume past its expiry. Payment rows stay in our books beyond that window for accounting and tax compliance, but they only contain transaction references (provider + payment ID + amount) — once the resume row is deleted, the payment row no longer links back to recoverable identity.
If you delete your account via the Account page, we immediately:
- Delete all resumes you own
- Delete your sign-in record (email + account row)
- Null the resume references on your payment rows (rows themselves remain for accounting)
Where it lives
Data is stored in our own Postgres database. Razorpay handles payment data on its own infrastructure. The AI provider processes prompt content in transit. Email (when configured) is delivered via the configured mail provider. We run no advertising or cross-site tracking SDKs; consent-gated, cookieless-by-default Google Analytics is the only third-party measurement script, and only on public pages.
Your rights
You can request a copy of all data we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account at any time. The fastest way is the Account → Delete account flow. For a data export or anything that flow doesn't cover, email support@globalsynapsetech.com and we'll respond within 30 days (GDPR / DPDP standard window).
Children
The product isn't directed at anyone under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we've received such data, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change anything material, we update the “Last updated” date at the top and post the new version. For significant changes (e.g. a new third-party processor) we'll email everyone with an account.
